Matt Damon’s Wife Keeps His Life Balanced

Oceans 11 star Matt Damon gives credit where credit is due, revealing that wife Luciana Barroso is the one who orchestrates his film schedule in order to keep the family together. The actor, who says his “great wife" helps him to balance family life and his thriving acting career, told People,

She really keeps it together. We just talk it out and work it all out. You say, this is the job and this is the time commitment and this is where it will be. I’m a lot easier to hire if you’re doing movies in New York."

Damon and Barroso are currently expecting their fourth child, and according to dad, Isabella, 4, Gia, 22 months, and Alexia, 11, Luciana's daughter from a previous relationship, are the ones to ask for updates on the pregnancy. Damon said of his daughters, “They track its progress in mommy's belly,” and added that they are, "very excited."

The couple, who have been dating since 2003, will celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary this year.

Matt Damon: “We’re Bracing Ourselves For Our Next Little Tornado”

With three kids and another along the way, Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso's household is about to get even busier. The Good Will Hunting star told People they're preparing themselves for the new arrival.

We're bracing ourselves for our next little tornado. We're excited. But it is a lot of work."

Matt, 39, and Luciana, 34, wed in 2005 and have two daughters together – Isabella, 3, and Gia, 21 months. Luciana also has an 11-year-old daughter, Alexia, from a previous marriage.

Damon was in attendance at the Save the Children's Celebration of Hope fundraiser in Greenwich, Conn. last night where he was honored for his work with the organization. This fell on the same night as the 30 Rock finale, where he guest-starred as Tina Fey's knight in shining armor.

Responding to reports that he'll return to the NBC comedy next season, Damon said, "If they'll have me, I would love to pop in and see the gang again. I had a great time doing it. I've worked with Alec Baldwin before, and I am a big Tina Fey fan."

Matt Damon & Luciana Barroso Expecting Again!

Congratulations to actor Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso, who are expecting their third child together!

A rep for the handsome Bourne Supremacy star confirmed the happy news today, telling Us magazine, "Everyone is excited."

The couple, who tied the knot in 2005, are already parents to girls Isabella, 3 1/2, and Gia, 1 1/2, as well as Alexia, 11, Luciana's daughter from a previous relationship.

Perhaps the baby on the way will be a boy to even out Matt's "testosterone deficient" home!

"I call it the 'testosterone deficit.' But I'm happy with that,” the actor recently said. “I love my girls and it's lot of pink, a lot of princesses and a lot of fun."

No word just yet on when the new baby is expected to arrive.

Matt Damon: My Daughters Keep Me Grounded

In his new film The Green Zone, Matt Damon plays an Army officer in Iraq who goes rogue after realizing that his search for WMD is little more than a wild goose chase. The 39-year-old father of three girls - stepdaughter Alexia, 11, and daughters Isabella, 3, and Gia, 1 - told Parade what he hopes to pass down to his girls, how his children keep him grounded, and what might get him working with BFF Ben Affleck again.

On what he hopes his kids will inherit: "From me, a sense of social justice and a desire to continue some of those programs that I'm involved with, or maybe not those exact ones, but hopefully, something to further social justice. And from my wife? She's a very wise and a very thoughtful person. Hopefully, they'll inherit that."

On trying to avoid the pitfalls of being famous: "I hope I'm doing a good job of it. It's pretty easy to kind of lose your way. I think working consistently with great people is really helpful. Also having kids is really helpful. They kind of disabuse you of the notion of your greatness pretty quickly. There's a routine that you get into with kids that precludes you from going back to your single days. I'm probably more boring than I used to be. I go to bed earlier and I get up earlier."

Matt Damon Says Daughters Are “Thriving” In New York

Matt Damon loves New York. After relocating to the Big Apple from Miami last year, the famous dad says that he and his wife Luciana Barrosa and their girls have no plans to leave.

"They're all thriving. That's why we're so excited about it here," Matt tells the USA Today of stepdaughter Alexia, 11, and daughters Isabella, 3, and Gia, 1. "We're not leaving. Nobody bothers me. The younger ones are not aware of any of the celebrity (stuff). We walk to school every morning. We play in the park. It feels like a normal life."
