Ali Landry, film director hubby Alejandro Gomez Monteverde, and their adorable 2 ½ -year-old daughter Estela attended the 17th Annual Race To Erase MS held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City, Calif. on Friday (May 7th).

Ali recently sat down with Celebrity Baby Scoop and revealed their plans for baby No. 2:

It is god’s will and we are trying very hard. He keeps saying ‘I want a baby, I want another baby,’ and I say ‘well you have to be in town to actually make that happen.’”

Ali Landry is more than just a pretty face. The former beauty queen and Doritos Girl has hung up her glittery gowns and tiaras to become a hands-on mompreneur. The down-to-earth “girl from the south” opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about her princess-loving 2 ½ -year-old daughter Estela (who will not be encouraged to enter showbiz or beauty pageants), her hopes to welcome a second child soon, and her passion to spread the good word about Belle Parish. “For me, the clothes represent what I’m about: Family values, good manners, relationships, kindness and a world of simpler times.”

The 36-year-old mother of one recently opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about the importance of consistent discipline.

We are pretty consistent with discipline, I’ve always been pretty firm with her. If she misbehaves, I have always sat her in the corner. I don’t care if I’m in the mall or in the French quarter of New Orleans, I will sit her in the corner. I might get crazy looks from people passing by, but it works and consistency for us is the key. My friends always say, ‘Are you kidding me? She is so little, she doesn’t know any better.’ But no, my child knows when she is doing something wrong, she definitely knows!”

Ali Landry opens up to Life & Style about how she lost her baby weight. The gorgeous Doritos Girl and her husband, producer Alejandro Gomez Monteverde, welcomed their daughter, Estela, on July 11, 2007. After her birth, Ali wasn’t feeling so energetic.

I was nursing, I was tired. I had no desire to go to the gym. For the first two years of her life, Estela was my focus. I didn’t care so much about being in perfect shape.”

Breastfeeding helped Ali drop 25 of her 35 pregnancy pounds. But the 36-year-old Eve actress wasn’t feeling in great shape. “I was skinny-fat. I was already back in my regular clothes, but I definitely wasn’t in shape.”
