  • Gwen Stefani:

In January, the Cool singer – already mom to sons Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 5 – revealed that she was expecting another boy. Wearing a blue shirt and crown, Gwen captioned an Instagram photo: “I was ready to hand over the crown. But I guess I am still queen of the house. #itsaboy #surroundedbyboys.”

“I mean, it does seem weird that I don’t have a girl, but I feel like I’m running out of time,” Gwen shared. “I also don’t want to spread myself so thin that I can’t even be good for them… Poor Zuma, he’d be the middle guy. I’m not focusing on it right now, but it’s not up to me anyway, you know? These things are miracles, so we’ll see. Otherwise, the clothes are probably going to go to some girlfriend of Kingston’s!”

  • Melissa Joan Hart:

Sabrina, The Teenage Witch star Melissa Joan Hart and husband, musician Mark Wilkerson, are parents to three boys: Mason, 8, Brady, 6, and Tucker, 18 months.

“I was actually relieved it was a boy,” Melissa told Celebrity Baby Scoop.

  • Cate Blanchett:

Two-time Academy Award-winning actress Cate Blanchett and husband, screenwriter Andrew Upton, have three sons: Dashiell, 12, Roman nearly 10, and Ignatius, nearly 6.

Cate Blanchett Covers W Magazine

Academy Award-winning actress Cate Blanchett graces the cover of the June issue of W Magazine. In the interview, the stunning Elizabeth actress, who is mom to three boys, Dashiell, 8, Roman, 6, and Ignatius, 2 opened up about her honest relationship with husband Andrew Upton, raising boys, and the possibility of having another child.

On having 3 boys & the possibility of a fourth: “Everyone says, ‘Oh, you must have [been trying] to have a girl. If the next one was a boy, then that’s just our lot! It’s true you do get a bit demented [with three boys], the chaos of it is great.”

On her childrens' tv & video game habits: "My kids don't watch any TV, but they watch videos and films. I'm sure they watch it at friends' houses. And my eldest got a Wii for his birthday last year. We had held off on it for a while. Then my husband said, let him play it--a few weeks later he'll get bored. And he did. He played it manically for a month but that was it in the end."

On teaching her children about theater: "You've just got to present it to them and they take what they take. It's important to me that it doesn't feel like a family business to them. So that they have a life that's not continually centered around what we do."

Russell Crowe & His Cannes Kids

Russell Crowe walked the red carpet with his two sons - Charlie, 6, and Tennyson, 4 in July - at the Cannes Film Festival today (May 12).

Russell, along with costar Cate Blanchett and producer Brian Grazer, are currently promoting their new flick, Robin Hood, at the 63rd annual film festival.

Although Robin Hood is pretty cool, Russell said that Charlie prefers Indiana Jones:

Charlie's obsessed with Indiana Jones at the moment. I think it's magnificent to a degree. I really don't want any more critiques about my abilities and Harrison Ford's abilities. It's kind of starting to p*ss me off. He's just so certain that Harrison is much better at the job than I am. He's probably right but I just don't want to hear it."

Cate Blanchett: Motherhood “Toughens You Up” And Turns You Into “Mush”

Cate Blanchett is certainly among the most well-respected and loved actresses of our time, having the pick of the top scripts, as well as hefty list of award nominations and wins under her belt. The 40-year-old is also mom-to-three boys, Dashiell, 8, Roman, 6, and Ignatius, 2 with husband of 12-years Andrew Upton. Blanchett, who said living in an all-male home is “Really loud. So very loud,” sat down with Times Online to talk about how motherhood has changed her and her career.

On motherhood: “It toughens you up and makes you more pragmatic, yet at the same time it turns you into a bowl of mush. You see a child in distress or a puppy waiting to cross the street and you just want to weep. Maybe that mix is good for an actor. I guess the great thing is that it increases your ability to switch on and off. The work is no longer the only thing in your life. Other things count – and count more.”

On planning her films based on her children: “Anyone with children will tell you the same thing. Starting out as single women, our first questions about any job are, ‘What kind of role is it?’ and ‘Who will I be working with?’. But as soon as we have kids, we find ourselves asking, ‘How long’s the shoot?’ and ‘Can it be done in the school holidays?’ Suddenly, your attitude becomes very pragmatic. It has to, because shifting your household to another hemisphere is a major upheaval and there has to be a pretty compelling reason for you to do it.”

Video: [Feature Trailer]

And we end the Monday sheet with this feature trailer for Robin Hood. Oscar-winning director Ridley Scott teams up once again with Oscar winner Russell Crowe to repeat the magic of Gladiator. And guess what, they have all the reasons to believe that the spell is going to be a mirror image of the previous one. The trailer says so. Russell Crowe plays the title character whereas Maid Marian is played by Oscar winner Cate Blanchett. Any guesses on the number of trophies the combination of these three Oscar winners are going to secure for this film at next year’s Academy Awards? Take your time. The movie releases May 14, 2010.

Best moment: 1:22

Cate Blanchett Puts Her Family First

Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett says that her career choices are motivated more by her kids than her craft these days. The Australian-born actress, who has kids Dashiell, 8, Roman, 5, and Ignatius, 22 months, with her husband Andrew Upton, tells The Sunday Times how she manages to find time for just about everything.

On making career choices: "With films, it used to be a question of 'Who’s directing it?'; now it’s 'How long is the shoot and where are they filming?' Recently I said yes to something because filming is in the Easter holidays. The children need to be in school now, but that’s okay: it’s good to be focusing on the theatre.

On small indulgences: "I like having a bath and a facial. The children understand that when I have the mask on, it’s mummy time - it’s the working mother’s best friend, because you may be exhausted, but you don’t want people to know. I might also relax in the evening with a vodka and tonic."

Keri Russell: Motherhood Introduces “A Whole New Set Of Feelings”

Keri Russell, mother of 2 ½-year-old son River, is set to star in Extraordinary Measures, where she plays a mom trying to save her two children who are dying of a rare genetic disorder. Keri told NYDailyNews that she felt deeply connected to this role now that she's a mother.

Rosie O'Donnell has this great quote. She said something like, "Before you have kids, your life is black and white, and then it's in color." It's just a whole new set of feelings that aren't as accessible to you before you have kids. So you see something sad happening to any kid, and you just instantly access, "Oh my God, what if that happened to my kid?" Everyone just sort of becomes your kid."

The 33-year-old Felicity star went on to say that she and husband Shane Deary love to take River out in their Brooklyn neighborhood. "We go to the park, we go to the farmers' market in Brooklyn. I love having BAM right here. BAM just had this retrospective on Sesame Street, and we saw it, like, on a full movie screen. It was River's first movie."

Although growing up in the city does pose its challenges. "Shane and I grew up with a lot of nature around. I grew up in Colorado, and he grew up on Martha's Vineyard. So there are tradeoffs. You get all this city culture. We walk to go see Cate Blanchett in A Streetcar Named Desire, and we walk to go to this retrospective on Cary Grant, and it was so cool. But when [you see] the schools have asphalt playgrounds, you're like, "Oh, right. That's how the city kids do it."

Hugh Jackman: Ava Loves The Paparazzi!

Hugh Jackman, doting dad to son Oscar, 9 ½, and daughter Ava, 4 ½, made an appearance on The Jay Leno Show recently and talked about the ever-present paparazzi. Apparently, sweet Ava loves to pose for the paps!

Oscar’s always like, ‘Oh, the paparazzi, I hate the paparazzi,’” Hugh said. “And my daughter is like, ‘Paparazzi!’ [Strikes a pose] She loves it!”

When Jay showed Hugh a picture of Ava sporting a goofy grin at the shutterbugs, the 41-year-old Wolverine star couldn’t help but burst out laughing. “Look at that! Hamming it up for the paparazzi. She’s going to regret that on her 21st,” he joked.

And if Ava has her way, we're going to be seeing many more fun shots. “I’m like, ‘Let’s go this way.’ And she’s like, ‘But Dad, the paparazzi are this way,’” Hugh said.

Hugh went on to say that his son doesn't share the same warm sentiments. Last month, when Hugh and Oscar were enjoying a friendly snowball fight with Cate Blanchett's three sons, Oscar aimed a few at the prying paps!

There were about 15 [of them and] there were about eight of us throwing snowballs,” he chuckles. “And [Oscar] said, ‘Dad, I’d just give anything to throw a snowball at the paparazzi,’ and I said, ‘Well, why don’t you do it son.’ I’m a good father, lessons all the way!”

Cate Blanchett Covers Vogue

Cate Blanchett wows on the December cover of Vogue. The 40-year-old Academy Award-winning actress is currently performing as the pretentious Blanche Dubois in the play Streetcar Named Desire at Kennedy Center’s Eisenhower Theater through November 21. The mom of three boys - Dashiell, 7 1/2, Roman, 5, and Ignatius, 1 1/2 - and self proclaimed “theater geek,” opens up about the importance of theater, her career choices and her family.

On her family: "When the boys aren’t playing with friends, they can usually be found playing backstage. They’re always engaged in the family business, so to speak.”

On her career choices: “I’m not very cautious or careful. It’s always been more about having a variety of experiences than any planned trajectory… I think that in a way, projects choose you.”

On the importance of theater: “In the wake of everything that’s happened in the world in the last eighteen months, we’re thinking about what we’ve lost. So much of the play is about the death of poetry and idealism and hope—the fine, delicate things in our lives, the intangible, ephemeral things in our lives—which theater actually represents, doesn’t it? It’s ephemeral by its very nature. If you’re not there, you miss it. It’s gone.”
