Grey's Anatomy doc Eric Dane has diagnosed himself as an "impulsive" shopper when it comes to daughter Billie Beatrice, 6 months, his adorable baby with actress and wife Rebecca Gayheart. He recently talked shop on Lopez Tonight, explaining,
You get a kid, you start impulsively buying things. I found this coat rack and I thought, ‘It’s very colorful, maybe [Billie] could hang a hat on it or swing from it or something.” But Dane's wife told him, ‘Your career as a decorator is done.

Giving birth March 3 at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center "was an overwhelming moment -- probably the greatest moment in my life thus far," adds Rebecca, 38. "We felt so blessed. The moment we've been waiting for finally came."

After the birth of their first child, McSteamy was said to be ecstatic with the good news. "They're both over the moon about it," a source revealed.
In a statement to People, Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart have announced the name of their newborn daughter: Billie Beatrice.
The Grey's Anatomy star, 37, and Gayheart, 38, welcomed their first bundle of joy on March 3.
McSteamy had previously stated that his wife wanted to "wait to see [the baby]" before picking a name. "You want to make sure that the name sticks."
