Words will never be enough to express how very, very much I love Kate Beckinsale. Yes, she’s sexy. Yes, she’s talented. What really wins me over about her though is her confidence. More than that, her confidence never seems like arrogance. That can be a mighty fine line sometimes but while some of the other women in the entertainment industry cross the line on a regular basis, Kate always seems to stay on the right side of it. She’s a strong woman who is in control of her image and I respect that. Granted, she could be hell on wheels away from the cameras but from where I sit, she seems like a pretty great role model. I’ve said this before but it’s worth repeating. I am more or less a straight female but I would gladly consider switching teams for Kate Beckinsale. There isn’t a single thing about this woman that doesn’t captivate me. She’s absolutely gorgeous, yes but she’s also smart, charming and funny. She also seems like a fantastic mother. British beauty Kate Beckinsale and took to the ice with her family on a sunny day in Santa Monica, California yesterday (November 27). After a spin around the rink Kate, her hubby Len Wiseman, 10-year-old daughter Lily Mo (black vest) and a friend headed out for a bit of shopping.
Next up for Kate is the flick Everybody's Fine, co-starring Robert De Niro, Drew Barrymore and Sam Rockwell. In the film De Niro plays a widower who takes a journey in hopes of reconnecting with his grown children and their families over the holidays.
Kate Beckinsale & Her Kooza Kid
Kate Beckinsale and husband Len Wiseman took her 10-year-old daughter Lily Mo and a friend to the Kooza Cirque Du Soleil show in Santa Monica on Sunday (November 15).
Lily Mo's father, Michael Sheen, hits the big screen this Friday as the creepy vampire Aro in the much-anticipated Twilight sequel, New Moon. In a recent interview, Kate said that she remains very close with Michael:
I love Michael. He's absolutely one of my most favourite people ever. I think we both felt it was really important for Lily also to have everybody in the same place. He loves her, I love her and Len loves her. Everyone is nice."

So another week, another ‘hottest’ cover by some rag, but this one has some teeth. Sure, the best makeup artists, photogs and some photoshop can make the fugliest fantastic…..just look at what they do with Lady Gag-Gag. But Esquire may have gotten this right. Kate Beckinsale is a true beauty, she never looks bad, not even mediocre. So we congratulate Esquire, and Kate’s dad’s sperm, for getting it soooooo right.

Kate Beckinsale has been named the Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire magazine. Period. There’s no need to say anything more on this issue because, well, because I’m convinced to the core of my heart that Esquire has hit the bullseye this time. Add to this the fact that these words are coming out of the mouth of a person who believes that the term “hotness” starts and ends with Megan Fox, and you will get a clear idea what I’m trying to say.
