Minnie Driver & Her Boy At The Beach

AG025747_02

Minnie Driver and her son Henry spent the day at the beach with friends in Malibu, Calif. on Sunday (March 9).

After tending to her 5-year-old – the About A Boy actress relaxed and shaded herself under a big umbrella.

Last October she talked about feeling “awful” leaving Henry to go to work.

“I do feel guilty sometimes, of course,” she told the Sunday Express. “If I leave the house before Henry has woken up and I’m back after he has gone to bed, it’s awful. So I find a way of getting his dad, a friend or his nanny to bring him on set when I’m working. And that’s important too – I do hope I set a good example with my work ethic.”

She added, “It’s important for my son to see that in action, so when he comes to set, he hangs out, he knows when to be quiet and he even calls ‘action’, which is really funny.”

The day before the pair were spotted at a beach in Malibu. Wearing a floral top and bikini bottoms – the actress watched as Henry played with a stick in the sand.

Minnie says, “It’s hard to say we’re really together when he lives so far away, but we have been seeing each other for a while. Chris is a brilliant writer and he’s my really, really, really, special friend, but we live several thousand miles away from each other, so it’s quite hard. But he’s lovely; he’s amazing.”

Friday’s Miscellaneous Junk You Might Like (11.11.2011)

Ke$ha shows us how she maintains her beetle-like figure.

Is Sakira turning into a hot mess? And why is Marc Anthony looking at her like she’s a plate of nachos covered in guacamole?

So this is what Leonardo DiCaprio will look like when he’s 77 (here playing J Edgar Hoover). Bet he’ll still have a stash of supermodels under his bed. Right next to his bucket of pee.

Gwyneth Paltrow and her chest hole give Justin Bieber a Bambi award in Germany.

Remember Jonathan Lipnicki, that cute kid from Jerry Maguire? He now wants to beat you up.

Demi Lovato shows some serious cleavage at the Latin Grammy Awards. Goes without saying that Sofia Vergara was also there.

Minnie Driver goes shopping with her 12-years younger toyboy.

Minnie Driver’s Lunch Box Lad

Circle of Friends star Minnie Driver took her son Henry for a walk along Mumbles seafront in Swansea, UK on Monday (August 30). The adorable tot, who turns 2 next month, held onto his In the Night Garden lunch box while mom and a friend caught up with each other.

The mother-son duo are in Europe as Minnie shoots her latest flick, Hunky Dory.

The 40-year-old single mom recently talked about having another child:

I'd like to have another baby but I might not, so if that was it, I want to be there for every second of it. He's everything and I'm not going to miss any of that."

Minnie Driver: "I’d Like To Have Another Baby"

Minnie Driver would love to give her 23-month-old son Henry a sibling, but she isn't sure that's going to happen.

The 40-year-old actress said, "I'd like to have another baby but I might not, so if that was it, I want to be there for every second of it. He's everything and I'm not going to miss any of that."

Luckily, she can take Henry everywhere she goes.

"I am a single mum, his dad's totally in his life in Los Angeles, it's all very amicable. But Henry goes where I go. And at the moment, I go everywhere.

"The life of a wandering gypsy is great if you're Angelina Jolie, it's amazing if you've got a plane and 20 people working for you. And actually I think it's incredible how they do their life. But it's just me, on my own.

"Henry has slept in chests of drawers, walk-in closets, hotel bathrooms. He's amazing, a really funny, kind, amenable little boy."

Minnie Driver & Her Beach Boy

Such a sweet duo!

Good Will Hunting star Minnie Driver and her adorable 1 1/2-year-old son Henry took a beach stroll in Malibu, Calif. on Saturday (June 12).

Minnie is a single mom to Henry, though his father - her "partner," whose identity she's chosen not to reveal - is reportedly a very active part of the boy's life.

Minnie Driver & Henry Touch Down In London

Good Will Hunting star Minnie Driver and her adorable 1 1/2-year-old son Henry Story arrived at Heathrow airport yesterday (May 12) in London after heading out from Los Angeles, Calif. Mom pushed the stroller along while her blue-eyed babe enjoyed a snack!

Though Driver has not publicly revealed the identity of Henry's father, she insists that he is an active parent and calls him her "partner." In an interview with Times Online, Driver said,

I wouldn’t change a thing about what I’ve done in the past because what may have been bad choices have all led me to this moment. I’m incredibly happy because I’ve got my beautiful baby and lovely partner.”

Minnie Driver & Henry: Park Pals

What a sweet pair! Actress Minnie Driver and her 1 1/2-year-old son Henry Story were spotted enjoying a sunny afternoon at the park in Malibu, California yesterday (April 17).

Looking seaworthy in their color-coordinated outfits, the Motherhood star followed close behind as her blue-eyed boy tottered around the playground and then tackled the climbing apparatus (with a little help from his mama)!

Minnie Driver & Her Beach Babe

Life's a beach for Minnie Driver and her beautiful boy Henry! The pair spent Easter Sunday kicking around the sand and surf with friends in Malibu, California (April 4).

Minnie recently revealed 1-year-old Henry, who looked absolutely adorable in his striped shorts and hooded sweater, is already a nature lover.

If the tide’s out we’ll look at the anemones and the starfish and the crabs. Somebody told me that if you hum next to a hermit crab, it brings it out – and it works. Henry goes up and hums at any shell he sees now, because he thinks there’s going to be a crab in it.”

Uma Thurman movie is mother of all flops

motherhood

A film about a stressed-out mother, featuring Hollywood superstar Uma Thurman, has been withdrawn from show in Britain after just 11 cinema goers turned up to see it in its opening weekend.

Motherhood managed to gross $14 from the lone viewer who turned up on the British debut Sunday. Takings for the full weekend hit $140.

The figures mean the film outflopped even its dismal performance back in the U.S, where it took just over $65,000 when it opened last September.

Kill Bill 2, by contrast, one of Thurman’s greatest hits, made $22.3m in America on its opening weekend in 2004.

Motherhood also has appearances by Minnie Driver and Jodie Foster.

British critic Barry Norman, said it was “astonishing” that only 11 people could be bothered to go and see a film starring Thurman. “The reviews were very poor indeed but that alone isn’t enough to explain it.”

Metrodome, the firm responsible for marketing the film, said it believed the DVD would do better than the cinema release.

When told of the takings in Britain, Jana Edelbaum, the film’s producer, replied: “You’re kidding? We must have broken a new record for grosses.”

She said she would demand an explanation from Metrodome. “Motherhood is not bad. It’s a very decent movie.”

Minnie Driver’s Cross Creek Cutie

Look at those cheeks! Motherhood star Minnie Driver enjoyed some one-on-one time with her adorable son Henry, 18 months, in Malibu, Calif. yesterday (March 21). The mother-son duo had a blast throwing coins into a wishing well at Cross Creek shopping center on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

The 40-year-old mother of one recently weighed in on the cry-it-out and co-sleep debates.

There’s no way, as a new mum, I could have let Henry cry for long; a little bit maybe. Besides, once you get your feeding sorted, their sleeping patterns fall into place. I’ve never brought Henry into bed with me, which was very hard, but I wanted to teach him that his bed isn’t a scary, isolated place. Now he’s the happiest, funniest, sweetest and most adaptable baby; he has slept in more drawers, walk-in closets and hotel bathrooms than you can imagine. We’re proper gypsies.”

Minnie Driver: “Henry Is The Happiest, Funniest, Sweetest Baby”

British-born beauty Minnie Driver admits her love life has had some ups and downs, but the 40-year-old Good Will Hunting star says she has no regrets.

“I wouldn’t change a thing about what I’ve done in the past because what may have been bad choices have all led me to this moment,” Minnie tells The Times Online. “I’m incredibly happy because I’ve got my beautiful baby and lovely partner.”

Minnie is a single mom to her 1 1/2-year-old son Henry Story, though his father - her "partner," whose identity she's chosen not to reveal - is reportedly a very active part of the boy's life.

Minnie Driver & Her Beach Boy Henry

Life's a beach for actress Minnie Driver and her 17-month-old son Henry Story. The Motherhood star reports that she's already introducing little Henry to her love of the surf and sand.

“If the tide’s out we’ll look at the anemones and the starfish and the crabs. Somebody told me that if you hum next to a hermit crab, it brings it out – and it works," Minnie says. “Henry goes up and hums at any shell he sees now, because he thinks there’s going to be a crab in it.”

The British-born star says she finds peace at the ocean - and in the yoga studio.

“My church is surfing and yoga. If I can get in a surf or practice yoga then I will. Yoga’s great for when you’ve got a full brain and can’t stop the mind chatter."

Minnie Driver & Happy Henry Hit The Park

Look at those cheeks! One-year-old Henry Story put a big smile on his mom Minnie Driver's face during a trip to the park in Malibu, California today (December 6).

The doting mom recently revealed that she'd love to give Henry a sibling:

I would like to have more children. I'd like Henry to have a brother and a sister. I think it would be nice for him. There's no amount of hassle that could ever be bigger than my love of Henry and the hilarity and joy that he has brought into my life."

Marisa Miller gets naked and soapy in Room 23…together with other celebrites

marisa-miller-naked-bath-room-23-book1

Here’s Marisa Miller getting her coochy lathered up in a private penthouse’s bathtub (room 23) in order to save the world…confused and horny? Don’t worry, we’ll explain (and get a water hose to work out on your second problem).

Room 23 is a book which was heavily publisized back in June because somehow the people behind it (mainly Diana Jenkins and photographer Deborah Anderson) convinced 100 celebrities to get naked, semi-naked, suck on a tittie or two, and in general go about doing what they’d do on a day-to-day basis in a private Beverly Hills Penthouse suite (because let us never forget that celebs don’t like getting carpet burns unless the carpet comes with a hefty price tag).

But, if you thought Paulina Porizkova would be feigning lesbo-tendencies (shown in bed with another woman), Minnie Driver letting us know she can eat and take a dump at the same time and Lindsay Lohan revealing she regularly spreads her legs infront of the mirror to inspect her crotch for lice simply because they’re exhibitionists with voyeristic tendencies, well, you’d be right…but only because it’s hidden behind a “worthy” cause…and the “worthy” in parenthesis because it involves the UCLA School of Law and an International Human Rights Project.

If you’re still tempted to go out and buy it at Amazon (book came out on September 8) don’t bother…we saved the most interesting pictures for you here.
