All’s not well with Rihanna

The mystery behind Rihanna’s hospital visit earlier this week has been revealed. The singer had reportedly injured a rib while performing during her Switzerland gig and was rushed to the hospital to scan the severity of her injury, reports Contactmusic.

A publicist to the star confirmed that Rihanna only went to have it looked at to be sure it was nothing serious, adding that everything is now OK, and the tour is going great. However, it’s anything but OK for the singer. Within days of her hospital visit, RiRi collapsed again onstage in France on Wednesday night and injured a knee.

Rihanna hospitalized for mysterious medical problem

Rihanna was rushed to the emergency unit of a local hospital after a gig in Zurich, Switzerland on Monday night for a mystery ailment. Though the singer returned back to the Hallenstadion venue after spending over two and a half hours at Hirslanden private clinic, the exact reason of her hospital visit is still unknown because both RiRi and the hospital authorities are tight-lipped about the situation.

According to Contactmusic,

The 22-year-old pop star was then quickly escorted into the accident and emergency department by her driver, bodyguard and assistant to be treated for a mystery ailment. Alenka Ambroz, head of the clinic’s corporate communications, told Blick: “Rihanna arrived at the accident and emergency unit. We’re not going to give any details.” She left the hospital at around 2.55am, over two and a half hours after being admitted, and was taken back to the venue.
