Anna Faris recently updated reporters on her 8-month-old son Jack. Speaking at the CBS Upfront event in New York City last Wednesday (May 15) the Mom actress shared she was suffering from separation anxiety.
She said, “It makes me crazy when I’m not holding him. He’s at a really adorable phase. He’s not crawling, but he sort of wiggles. He coos and he giggles and he makes funny, funny noises. He lights up when you walk into the room. And he squawks!”
Faris, 36, also praised her husband – Parks and Recreation’s Chris Pratt.
“Chris is an amazing dad. He really is. He feeds the baby almost every morning so I can sleep in. . . It’s very sexy to watch him be a dad!”
US Weeklyreports she also talked about bonding with the baby.
She said, “People keep saying, ‘Enjoy your baby.’ At first I didn’t really know what that meant. ‘Enjoy your baby?’ I don’t know! Am I enjoying this? I’m bored and it’s hard work! But it is true.”
“It’s like, ‘This is going to pass. This time is going to pass and I’ll miss this,’” Faris added. “I’m excited for Jack to get older so I can talk with him and have him become a full person, but I know I’m going to miss eating his feet and kissing his cute little cheeks.”
Speaking to E! News she continued on to say that Jack “has a weirdly huge head” and joked, “Well, you know what, we (she and costar Allison Janney) are just gonna have to step it up and I’m gonna have to bring home a lot of bacon, I guess. I gotta pull my weight.”
On the new sitcom Mom – Faris plays Christy, a newly sober single mom. The show airs Mondays at 9:30 p.m. on CBS this fall.
A contrite and humbled Reese Witherspoon - mom to Ava, 13, Deacon, 9, and Tennessee, 6 months - addressed her DUI drama during a Wednesday appearance on Good Morning America, calling it “one of those nights.”
“We went out to a restaurant in Atlanta, and we had one too many glasses of wine,” the Academy Award-winner, 37, admitted, referring to herself and her husband Jim Toth.
Reese’s new hubby was charged with DUI, and she with disorderly conduct.
“We thought we were fine to drive,” she said, “and we were absolutely not, and we are so sorry and just so embarrassed. We know better and we shouldn’t have done that.”
Admitting to “poor judgment” for not calling a cab, Reese added, “We made a mistake, and it was something that will absolutely never happen again.”
The police report stated that the actress did not follow the officer’s orders, and proceeded to use abusive language.
“I was so disrespectful to him,” Reese said. “I have police officers in my family. I work with police officers every day. I know better. It’s just unacceptable.” She added, “I played a lawyer in a movie so many times I think I am a lawyer. And clearly I’m not a lawyer, because I got arrested.”
“I have no idea what I was saying,” she shared. “That night I saw him arresting my husband, and I panicked. I said all kinds of crazy things. I said I was pregnant. I’m not pregnant. I said crazy things. I had no idea what I was talking about.”
But telling Ava and Deacon has been “the hardest part about it,” she admitted. “When you make a mistake, you take responsibility, and we are taking responsibility, and we are doing everything within our power to make it right.”
One of the biggest lessons learned? “When a police officer tells you to stay in a car, you stay in a car,” she shared.

The court case involving two men who were accusing of trying to extort $25 million from the famous couple after the death of their son Jett has come to a dramatic end today, RadarOnline reports.
The defendants have been discharged," Neil Braithwaite, Chief Counsel in the Office of the Attorney General, announced Monday morning from a courthouse in the Bahamas. "Mr. Travolta is no longer interested in pursuing the matter because it has caused his family great emotional distress."
The two defendants were charged with trying to extort millions from the Travoltas in return for keeping an ambulance waiver secret on the day Jett died.
