Willow Smith’s Whip My Hair is certainly going places at a very fast pace. After making a mark with Sesame Street, the funky song has made Jersey Shore’s Snooki whip her pouf to its tune. No doubt Snooki’s cute performance will earn her some more fans, but the real winner is 9-year-old Willow. There remains no doubt that this song IS the pop anthem of the year. Enjoy the video.

Apart from going viral in no time, the amazing video, already touted as the pop anthem of the year, even managed to nudge the folks at Sesame Street to cook a remix in its honor. We definitely owe a big thanks to Will and Jada Pinkett Smith for giving us this gem. She’s such a charming and cute girl. WTF! This 9-year-old girl even performs better than most of those 17-year-olds acting as grownups and those grownups pretending to be kids. Hats off to Willow! You go girl!!

Willow Smith Debuts First Single: ‘Whip My Hair’

Willow Smith, the adorable 9 1/2-year-old daughter of A-list couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, debuts her first single, Whip My Hair. Using many of the paparazzi pics seen right here on Celebrity Baby Scoop, Willow shows off her many funky hairdos in the above video.
The talented girl has signed on with Jay-Z's record label Roc Nation. The rap mogul said of the preteen singing sensation, "We at Roc Nation are excited to work with Willow. She has an energy and enthusiasm about her music that is truly infectious. It's rare to find an artist with such innate talent and creativity at such a young age. Willow is about to embark on an incredible journey and we look forward to joining her as she grows in all aspects of her career."

Willow Smith Signed To Jay-Z’s Record Label
Will Smith's 9-year-old daughter Willow is breaking into the music business. She and Jay-Z called into On-Air With Ryan Seacrest this morning declaring that she will be working with the rapper's record label Roc Nation. Her first single Whip My Hair has launched to rave reviews.
Jay-Z commented, "We at Roc Nation are excited to work with Willow. She has an energy and enthusiasm about her music that is truly infectious. It's rare to find an artist with such innate talent and creativity at such a young age. Willow is about to embark on an incredible journey and we look forward to joining her as she grows in all aspects of her career."
Willow admitted that all the media attention is "very overwhelming" but she credits her mother Jada Pinkett-Smith for making her feel confident with paparazzi.
"My mom teaches me to say how I feel all the time," Willow explained. "My mom and me are very strong individuals and I just know that, because lots of people, they don't act like themselves, so they're not happy."
Willow will be shooting the music video for the single in Los Angeles at the end of this month.
Will Smith & Family At Nobel Peace Prize Concert
Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith and their two kids - Jaden, 11, and Willow, 9 - were photographed on the stage at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, held at the Oslo Spectrum, in Oslo, Norway, on Friday (December 11).
The famous family of four were on hand to support President Barack Obama accept his Nobel Peace Prize.
It’s a fantastic historical event," Will said. "It’s something we absolutely positively had to be a part of.”

Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith and their 9-year-old daughter Willow posed for a pic as they arrived at the Oslo Town Hall in Norway yesterday (December 10). The famous family were on hand to witness President Barack Obama accept his Nobel Peace Prize.
